Well, it everyone doesn't already know this, it works with 20040524.
After a bit of experimenting, I found that this DLL setup works:

"shell32" = "builtin, native"
"shfolder" = "builtin, native"
"shdocvw" = "builtin, native"

"advapi32" = "builtin, native"
"msvcrt" = "native, builtin"
"mciavi.drv" = "builtin, native"
"mcianim.drv" = "builtin, native"
"msi" = "native, builtin"
... Except that trying to save game crashes, so don't do that after
playing for 3 hours.
