wine users - Mar 2005 - weird problem

im getting very strange characters when I open up and try to install a 
exe file using wine.. Im  using debian.. So im not sure whats wrong 
here.. I tried installing flashget 1.65.. Can anyone help? but i tried 
another dcom98 same problem,..
