Hello all,
this is my first message to the list. I have wine
20041201, installed on my slack 10.1, and it was
working fine, until I installed a software and then
all fonts in menus and messages became weird symbols.
I am sending a screenshot to show how it is today.
Also I will let the image in

Does anyone know what is going on and how to solve
this?

This is caused by your fonts directory having been trashed. Go to ~/.wine/drive_c/windows and look for a fonts directory. If it is there, you just need to download and install Windows base fonts from Sourceforge.net. If not, create the directory and follow the same procedure. (Before you have installed Arial you will have to guess what the buttons on the install screen are. Once Arial is installed, everything looks better for further font installs.)
