wine users - Jul 2004 - Wine - Runtime error 335 - could not access system registry

Hello,

We are using Red Hat Linux 9. We have installed wine using latest tar
file.

I am trying to run Visual Basic application.

I am getting the following error:

"Run-time error 335 
could not access system registry"

Can you please suggest the steps/solution for this problem?
