Hi all, I have to install Wine for one old application my family needs. Which of the BSD's works best with the latest release of Wine? I am most familiar with FreeBSD 4.x, but I am considering FreeBSD 5.2, NetBSD, or OpenBSD. lane myer
Probably freebsd, it has an official package, you can get it from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=6241 netbsd probably won't do, as wine will only run windows programs on x86, unless you have the source code of the program and you want to recompile it. Have no idea about openbsd, but it might not build cleanly. Ivan.
