Dear all, I'm having some problems getting my wine installation running Windows apps. I'm trying to run a couple of commercial stats packages - Minitab and Genstat: Minitab will run OK but not do graphs, Genstat won't even launch properly. I've read the FM; any pointers to other tutorial material on Wine would be appreciated. Best would be any advice on what might be wrong with my set up and how I could fix it. I'm running debian GNU/Linux 'mixed' (i.e. bits of stable, unstable & testing), dual-booted with Windows 2000 "Pro". The version of Wine I have is 20030115 (I used the .deb). When running wine I have the Windows partition mounted umask=000. With the default config settings I wasn't getting anywhere, so I've edited my config file like this: [Drive C] "Path" = "/mnt/" "Type" = "hd" "Label" = "/home/ivan/.wine/fake_windows" "Filesystem" = "win95" [wine] "Windows" = "C:\\winnt" "System" = "C:\\winnt\\system" "Temp" = "X:\\" "Path" = "C:\\winnt;C:\\winnt\\system;X:\\;Y:\\" "Profile" = "\\Documents and Settings\\ivan" * minitab Gets into an expect deadlock when Minitab tries to produce graphs: ... err:win32:_EnterSysLevel (0x40a07e18, level 2): Holding 0x40ab3984, level 3. Expect deadlock! err:win32:_EnterSysLevel (0x40a07e18, level 2): Holding 0x40ab3984, level 3. Expect deadlock! err:win32:_EnterSysLevel (0x40a07e18, level 2): Holding 0x40ab3984, level 3.
