wine users - Jan 2004 - where is wineinstall?

Hi,

1) I download wine-20031212_1.tgz
2) copy the tarball into /usr/wine
3) tar zxpvf wine*.tgz

I can't find wineinstall, where is it?

I downloaded again and now it is OK.

But it is not compile, message below:

Does not a permission problem?

I need to run wineinstall like a common user but gcc needs root?
