Hello, I want to use Internet Explorer in Linux for testing purposes. I've started ie6setup.exe and it also starts, but it wants to download the rest of IE from the Internet, but it can't find an Internet connection. I've ADSL up and running. So my question, is Internet access for Win32 apps via Wine possible at all and if yes, how do I set this up? Thanks Tom
Wine will handle connecting to the internet out of the box, at least it does for me. I did a little looking and getting IE6 to install requires a little extra work, you might want to check out this link, http://patrick.spacesurfer.com/ie_wine_install.html So, the way it looks for me is if you have a lan connection it should work with Wine out of the box. -Dan- MOS-FET wrote:>> Hello, >> >> I want to use Internet Explorer in Linux for testing purposes.
