wine users - Nov 2003 - How to port a database based application to linux

Hai everybody,
 I would like to know how i could run a database based windows application in
Linux. For eg: How could I run a VB/VC++ application with  access backend  in
linux (using wine). I tried once using wine in RH7.3 but could not succeed.

You need the same as in Windows. So if you have a setup which will install
everything needed on a clean Windows run this in wine. If it still doesn't
work then (or even the setup fails, quite possible) you need to report
the errors here.
