Hello everybody, I installed the new wine released today; but after the installation was complete suddenly ie5 can't load html pages anymore; I tried importing the registry files again but that didn't help Can anyone tell me what to do so the thing works again ? Oh, by the way, is there a way to make the error warnings popup again instead of just the yellow thingy in the left corner - that one didn't react when I clicked it ? I need that as I want to use the browser for debugging html pages anyway, Thanks for your help, Joris

Weird I coudn't get IE to work last time I tried installing it.... :'( Try installing a totally blank wine install with just the default directory tree, and try reinstalling IE from zero. I wonder why it doesn't work on my computer :(>I followed the description of the actions to follow at >http://frankscorner.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=47&page=1&POSTNUKESID=607d310d05eac06a9df157d2098244ba> >(I used wine-20030813 before - I'm keeping it up to date) > >anijap@execulink.com wrote: > >>How did you get IE working in the previous release? >> >> >> >>>Hello everybody, >>> >>>I installed the new wine released today; but after the installation was >>>complete suddenly ie5 can't load html pages anymore; I tried importing >>>the registry files again but that didn't help >>> >>>Can anyone tell me what to do so the thing works again ? >>> >>>Oh, by the way, is there a way to make the error warnings popup again >>>instead of just the yellow thingy in the left corner - that one didn't >>>react when I clicked it ?
