No, for a start usually winxp uses NTFS, and linux can only read it. Also, wine works well with windows 95/98/me dlls only, so if the choice is native xp dlls or builtin, usually the builtin wine dlls work better. But you can just make a fake windows installation, you can find a tools for doing this on our sourceforge download page, it's called winesetuptk and is at the bottom of the page.
