I have a Windows application that I would like to have running on Linux as it is my platform of choice. This application is a proprietary Visual Basic program. It's name is crisscross real-estate. Using the latest codeweavers-wine I was able to install it on a pre-install windows directory layout and the application is behaving very well except that in at one point in the program I get an Invalid Property Value message box popping up on the screen. It seems I have tried everything to go around that but I am now short of ideas. I have use the latest wine release (20020605), I have played with overriding of loading native DLLs, etc... but to no avail. Looking through archives, it seems to me that it has to do with maybe the way modal windows are handled. In that particular application, the window that comes up after pressing a search button is a modal window. I have included the default stderr from running that application with wine. I have also a relay file but it is rather big. But if somebody wants to see it I can e-mail it to them. I can also set up a test machine that people could connect to if somebody expresses the will to try to debug that. On another note, this application works fine whn run under VMware and Win4Lin. I used the directory tree of VMware windows installation to test it under Wine. Just to make sure that some files where not omitted. You can submit your bug report to the Wine bug tracking system at http://bugs.winehq.com. Your bug report won't be lost there. Please, mention in your bug report if it is possible to get access to free (trial, demo) version of the application.
