I changed the config dll options:
[DllDefaults]
# "EXTRA_LD_LIBRARY_PATH" = "${HOME}/wine/cvs/lib"
"EXTRA_LD_LIBRARY_PATH" = "/usr/local/lib/"
"DefaultLoadOrder" = "builtin, native, so"
note: builtin and native are swapped
This fixed Word, but seemed to break Excel.
Please let me know how you do,
