wine users - Nov 2001 - Annoying font metrics

Hi all,

I am using WINE to run exlusively console-based apps, and it randomly does
that "building font metrics" thingie. Since it is pretty useless to me
and takes like 3 minutes to complete, I am wondering if there is any
way to prevent WINE from doing this

After a successfull wine run, the font metric is stored.

So on a second run, no building is done when no changes in the system have
occured.
