Hello, I just installed Slackware 8.0, and I am trying to get a little game called snood working. I'm almost there, but i have run into a few problems and any help would be appreciated. When the game starts, it begins in a window, with another window aski9ng for registration. When I hit "try" It kind of goes into full screen. I say kind of because the game window is still the normal size but the rest of my screen is all black. Clicking where the menus "should be" if it was running correctly in a window does pop up the menus. Also alt-tabing to a different app and moving that app around the screen seems to clear the black and restore my desktop, but soon enough snood takes over my screen again, seemingly dependant on where I scroll my mouse. Also, I have tried starting a new game despite this situation, and it seems to work, but only the first mouse click is accepted. after that no more mouse clicks seem to get to the program. Also, If I pause the game, then clear the screen as stated before, while the game is paused it will not take over my screen. This happens regardless of the --managed switch. Can someone offer advice? -Jim
