wine users - Feb 2001 - Half-Life forgets settings

Hi all,
I got Half-Life installed successfully (yeah! :) and I can launch it, too.
Next I set up some settings, e.g. cd key, video mode etc. But HL doesn't
save these values. Next time I start HL, I'm asked again for the cd key etc.

I think that's a problem with the registry. But I don't know which trees
to
edit to save this stuff. Any hints?
