webgen users - Jun 2009 - Blog example

I''m absolutely new to webgen. I''ve discovered it just
yesterday. I''ve
parsed all the docs on site but that didn''t really help to start doing
my own blog with webgen.

Sadly, I didn''t found anybody on the #webgen channel on IRC. So I
turned to the mailing list. I''ve seen a few mentions of blog example
but didn''t found any. If to be honest I didn''t found any
examples
anywhere. It looks like a project with a 5 years of development floats
in an absolute void. Too sad.

So is there anywhere any real life examples? I''d like the ones that
can be useful for bloggin.

Blog support in webgen isn''t very good at this point, in fact only the
feed handler is implemented. If you want a working static blog now, you
should use nanoc, webby or jekyll. Both focus more or less on generating
static blogs.

webgen will support all needed blog features some time in the future,
however, I can''t put a date on it since RL always has a way to
interfere
with those...
