Vpim talk - Nov 2005 - Rails

Has anyone successfully used vPim with Rails?
Please let me know of your experiences OR where I can find 
documentation to do so.

I''ve never used rails, so I don''t have any specific advice.

vpim is just a ruby library, you can use it like any other ruby library,
you can write any kind of ruby code within rails, can''t you? Or does
rails have some specific limitations?

Have you installed it? Did you have some particular problem?

If you encounter some issues, or have any more specific questions, I can
probably help.

Btw, I''m in the process of moving to a new city and new job, leave day
after tomorrow, so if you don''t hear back immediately, that will be
why.

I used Vpim to create a rest-type service that takes query parameters  
and spits back a vcard file. Didn''t make any sort of use of  
ActiveRecord though. Basically just copied the example for creating a  
vcard into a rails controller and hooked up the query parameters.
