Vorbis - Mar 2008 - New Media Codec: Audio, Video & Atmosphere Lighting help

Hi, im creating a new project, it's disco/stage lighting vst:

Now i wish to create a new media codec: AVA Codec, Audio, Video & Atmosphere
Lighting ( (c)Copyright AVA Development).

Where can i find a clean sample of a basic ogg codec? I could pull apart
theora or vorbis source code to create such a codec, but would be far better
to have a clean base to work from. Any ideas?

Yes.  Use what exists instead of trying to reinvent the wheel.  It's

MIDI and DMX(Disco lighting control) is not the same thing, does anyone have
a simple example ogg stream so i can adapt it to accept dmx data?

pulling apart theora or vorbis to create a new codec is not a clean way, i
need some simple code to start off from. surely there is an example on the
net of how to create a new ogg codec?
