Does such a thing exist? I know I can convert the oggs to wavs and then to the audio CD, but it would be good to do it in one step. If there is nothing available right now, are there any freeware / open-source products in the pipeline? It rips to .wav and then encodes .ogg, but it's a one-step process for the user, like grip. The developer is quick to implement the latest revisions, and responds well to user feedback. http://www.dbpoweramp.com Vorbis users are well-represented in their user forum. http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=211&highlight=poll Basic software is free, and all you need, but they have a "Power Pack" add-on for like $20 that enables volume normalization and additional tags. I'm pretty happy with it. ----- I've not used CDex, but I think it fits your description, and is open source: http://cdexos.sourceforge.net I'm sure there are many other packages like what you describe. [vorbis] Freeware windows ogg audio CD burner?
Hello Iain, Thursday, November 21, 2002, 10:24:39 AM, you wrote: IC> Does such a thing exist? Don't use HTML mail again, please. -- Best regards, Alejandro mailto:baldusi@uol.com.ar <p>--- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. Yes, such a thing exist. burnatonce is a freeware windows app that burn Ogg Vorbis, but it is not OpenSource :( and the app also convert the vorbis files to wav (automaticly), it does not convert in realtime when burning. but that isn't so bad, because it is safer to keep the vorbissound quality that way (not converting when burning). you can try to follow this norwegian Ogg Vorbis - burnatonce guide: http://www.vorbis.nu/forum/viewtopic.php?t=91 metrom <p>www.vorbis.nu <p><p>----- Original Message ----- From: "Iain Cheyne" <iain@shlgroup.com> To: <vorbis@xiph.org> Sent: Thursday, November 21, 2002 2:24 PM Subject: [vorbis] Freeware windows ogg audio CD burner? <p>> Does such a thing exist?> > I know I can convert the oggs to wavs and then to the audio CD, but itwould> be good to do it in one step. > > If there is nothing available right now, are there any freeware / > open-source products in the pipeline? > > Thanks > > Iain<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns > "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> > > > > > > This email is confidential and intended for the addressee(s) only. > If you are not an addressee please promptly notify the sender and deletethe> message; do not use the content in any other way. > ><p>--- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body.
