I would like to be able to see what options an ogg was made with, so it is quick/fast to recognise which are -q, which are -b, etc. I see there is already Max/Min/Nominal rates mentioned by ogginfo - and if the actual rate is relatively far off from the nominal rate, then it is likely -q, but this isn't reliable enough, and with just more options coming soon... As a matter of fact, I'd also like some standard place to mark what the source of the ogg is... (cdparanoia, or vinyl, or mp3-to-ogg transcoding, etc. Some won't care about setting this, one can then assume they may care little enough to also not use cdparanoia etc. Just my R0,02, which aint worth much these days, Hugo van der Merwe --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. Then I could automate deleting them. :) I don't think "cdparanoia" would be appropriate for SOURCEMEDIA, though; the source is a CD, not the program used to rip the CD. -- Glenn Maynard --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body.
