[Vorbis-dev] RE: Vorbis-dev Digest, Vol 16, Issue 10 ogg streaming
Thanks for the reply.. I am very new to this field (streaming players) have some experience in java/php/vb, however would like to know from you experts where/how to start...what is the best option, what I am looking at is something like the jorbis player; we simply place the url and it plays the stream...the idea is to cut off all the other unnecessary stuff, and to just get the simple code which can play a ogg stream example.... http://www.jcraft.com/jorbis/ Sanjay.B.Adnani sanjay@adnani.com(personal email id) -----Original Message----- From: vorbis-dev-bounces@xiph.org [mailto:vorbis-dev-bounces@xiph.org]On Behalf Of vorbis-dev-request@xiph.org Sent: 15 September 2005 23:00 To: vorbis-dev@xiph.org Subject: Vorbis-dev Digest, Vol 16, Issue 10 Send Vorbis-dev mailing list submissions to vorbis-dev@xiph.org To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit http://lists.xiph.org/mailman/listinfo/vorbis-dev or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to vorbis-dev-request@xiph.org You can reach the person managing the list at vorbis-dev-owner@xiph.org When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of Vorbis-dev digest..." If you need a Java library just for decoding Vorbis, you could always take a look at www.j-ogg.de. The decoder API is much easier to understand than Jorbis'.
