Vorbis dev - Oct 2004 - ogg123 and libcurl

I am trying to build some very lightweight
tools for a non-networked device. Any
chance of making libcurl optional for
ogg123? Anything I need to know if I try
to remove it myself (I am not a programmer
by any stretch of the imagination, but
sometimes I can follow the purpose of
code)? Thanks.

See bugzilla #197.  This seems to be broken again, though.
Sigh.  Someone please fix (and/or reopen the bug report).
