tinc - Jul 2016 - Memory leak on tinc

Hi guys,

Second question for me today:), really appreciate the help.
I have been using tinc in a linux environment, due to our need, I kept it
running all the time.(i.e. several months)
Recently I found out the system's memory usage is gradually going higher
and higher, and eventually
triggering oom-killer in the system.
After disabling process one by one, I identified tinc is the reason for the
memory usage increment.
(FYI I was checking committed_AS under /proc/meminfo)

I was running 1.0.24 on my linux machine. I did download 1.0.28 and
observed the same thing.
Does anyone else see the same thing?

Can you identify that RSS for tinc process is growing without returning
memory to system? And if you have swap, look for swap usage too.
(fgrep VmSwap /proc/<tinc_pid>/status)
