The name "tinc" comes from the expression "There Is No
CABAL". See
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backbone_cabal for more information about that
expression.

The software is just called "tinc", the domain name of the website is
tinc-vpn.org because tinc.org is already taken by a domain squatter.
