tinc - Nov 2004 - Error VPN version

Hola estoy tratando de configurar mi primera VPN, pero cuando me conecto al 
servidor VPN  Netstat -nat me dice que la coneccion esta en estado 
TIME_WAIT, por otro lado revisando syslog encuentro lo siguiente:

(200.113.xx.xxx port 655)

Parece ser un problema de versiones de TINC?, puede ser por que el servidor 
VPN corre en un Debian Stable (woody) y el cliente es un Debian testing 
(Sarge).

Si fuese ese mi problema debo actualizar el servidor VPN a testing y correr 
un apt-get upgrade tinc?

He seguido el ejemplo de MASQUERADING

Does it appear to be a problem with different versions of TINC?, it
could be because the VPN server runs Debian Stable (woody) and the
client runs Debian testing (Sarge).

If this is my problem should I update the VPN server to testing and run
apt-get upgrade tinc?
