theora - Feb 2004 - question about ogg

file that I would like to burn onto an audio CD.  Do I have to convert it in
order for standard CD players to recognize it, and if so, what programs
*preferably a free one* are available to do this?  Thanks for your time -

This question is not Theora-related but probably Vorbis related.
Ogg/Vorbis-files should be converted to wav to play in most CD-players:

  ogg123 -d wav -f foo.wav foo.ogg

I will assume that you know how to make an audio-cd from a bunch of
wav-files.
