[syslinux] memtest86 does not work after upgrading to PXELINUX 6.01
Dear Colleagues, memtest86 does not work any more after upgrading PXELINUX to 6.01. When trying to boot, I get the following message: PXELINUX 6.01 2013-07-04 Copyright (C) 1994-2013 H. Peter Anvin et al Loading memtest86... ok Booting kernel failed: invalid argument boot: The config is simple: DEFAULT memtest label memtest kernel memtest86 Any ideas? What additional information can I provide? That is "Memtest-86 v4.3" if it's important. -- Victor Sudakov, VAS4-RIPE, VAS47-RIPN sip:sudakov at sibptus.tomsk.ru

This is a known bug in the 5.xx and 6.xx releases. A fix is being worked on. -- Matt Fleming, Intel Open Source Technology Center

For the present I had to use a workaround (memdisk + memtest86 floppy image work all right). -- Victor Sudakov, VAS4-RIPE, VAS47-RIPN sip:sudakov at sibptus.tomsk.ru

There's been at least one successful report when booting memtest with that version. -- Matt Fleming, Intel Open Source Technology Center
