However, I am wondering if I encountered a bug while attempting to use a global append. Automatic booting of the first label entry in the menu works provided that a global append is not present. However, if the global append is present then I must press tab to stop the error message from repeating then type the name of the label I want to boot and press enter. After reading documentation I feel slightly confused about append. And can a label specific append be appended to a global append or will it always replace it? What I like best about extlinux is the ability to load multiple initramfs images and also to be more forgiving of errors rather than where almost all errors involving lilo require booting with an Install/Rescue CD in order to repair. extlinux and isolinux of the syslinux project are fine bootloaders. Thanks for creating and sharing them. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
