hello,
i want to boot linux from a usb pendrive of ext2 type.
1st primary partition. i tried with extlinux.
i just want only the kernel to load, no other files (init) i dont want.
the / contains only
extlinux.sys
extlinux.conf
vmlinuz
i created the extlinux.conf file
DEFAULT BASE
KERNEL vmlinuz
APPEND sd0,0
but on booting it shows the error message
Missing Operating System.
what is the problem, i dont have too much experience in this.
