Hi, I got pxelinux working with tftp32 running on a windows server. I have a little computer that loads a linux image off the network, but I want to add a different computer to boot off the network, for a different purpose. Is it possible for the server to provide one image to a certain computer, and another image to a second computer? Thanks :) Andrew

[syslinux] pxelinux -- boot more than one image?
The secret is in your config file. Open it with notepad and edit it. Here is a part of mine : (note : DISPLAY images/messages.txt causes a textfile to be displayed on your screen. This textfile in my case shows all possible options like 1=dos,2=dos5,3=dos6 etc ) Good luck, Rijk # toon een boot: prompt want Zonder bootprompt wordt de DEFAULT optie gestart... # prompt 1 betekent AAN en heeft niets te maken met optie 1... PROMPT 1 DEFAULT 0 DISPLAY images/messages.txt # display images/hoi.txt TIMEOUT 35996 # in 1/10 seconde ; maximum 35996 label 0 LOCALBOOT 0 label 1 KERNEL memdisk/memdisk APPEND initrd=images/dos/dosboot.img floppy label 2 KERNEL memdisk/memdisk APPEND initrd=images/dos500/dos500.ima label 3 KERNEL memdisk/memdisk APPEND initrd=images/dos600/dos600.ima label 4 KERNEL memdisk/memdisk APPEND initrd=images/dos620/dos62_uk.ima label 5 KERNEL memdisk/memdisk APPEND initrd=images/dos621/dos621.ima label 6 KERNEL memdisk/memdisk APPEND initrd=images/dos622/dos622.ima -----Original Message----- From: Petro [mailto:petro at corp.vendio.com] Sent: Tuesday, January 06, 2004 2:55 AM To: Andrew Wong Cc: syslinux at zytor.com Subject: Re: [syslinux] pxelinux -- boot more than one image?
