With the following command: syslinux -s /tmp/boot288.img I'm getting the following error: /proc/1164/fd/3: No such file or directory I'm completely confident that the image file was built correctly. My ultimate goal is to create a bootable CD into the OS (much like Knoppix), so any advice to steer me in the right direction would also be helpful. Thanks! -Mike -------------------------------------- This EMail Was brought to you by WebMail A Netwin Web Based EMail Client http://netwinsite.com/webmail/tag.htm

Are you running as a user or as root? If a user, is the syslinux binary setuid root.> I'm completely confident that the image file was built > correctly. > > My ultimate goal is to create a bootable CD into the OS > (much like Knoppix), so any advice to steer me in the right > direction would also be helpful.
