[Swfdec] [Bug 14346] New: swfdec-mozilla 100% CPU usage with some animations
http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14346 Summary: swfdec-mozilla 100% CPU usage with some animations Product: swfdec Version: 0.5.5 Platform: x86-64 (AMD64) OS/Version: Linux (All) Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: plugin AssignedTo: swfdec at lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: shrdlu at unlimitedmail.org QAContact: swfdec at lists.freedesktop.org http://sudoku.repubblica.it/sudoku.php?id=20080203_03 Clicking on a blank square opens a sort of "dial" where one can select the digit to insert in the square. On my system, *only while the dial is open*, the cpu usage of forefox jumps to 100%. As soon as a digit is selected, the dial closes and cpu usage drops to normal. I'm using swfdec and swfdec-mozilla 0.5.5, firefox 2.0.11. 64-bit Gentoo. $ cat /proc/cpuinfo processor : 0 vendor_id : AuthenticAMD cpu family : 15 model : 75 model name : AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+ stepping : 2 cpu MHz : 2400.000 cache size : 512 KB physical id : 0 siblings : 2 core id : 0 cpu cores : 2 fpu : yes fpu_exception : yes cpuid level : 1 wp : yes flags : fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 apic sep mtrr pge mca cmov pat pse36 clflush mmx fxsr sse sse2 ht syscall nx mmxext fxsr_opt rdtscp lm 3dnowext 3dnow rep_good pni cx16 lahf_lm cmp_legacy svm extapic cr8_legacy bogomips : 4813.14 TLB size : 1024 4K pages clflush size : 64 cache_alignment : 64 address sizes : 40 bits physical, 48 bits virtual power management: ts fid vid ttp tm stc processor : 1 vendor_id : AuthenticAMD cpu family : 15 model : 75 model name : AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+ stepping : 2 cpu MHz : 2400.000 cache size : 512 KB physical id : 0 siblings : 2 core id : 1 cpu cores : 2 fpu : yes fpu_exception : yes cpuid level : 1 wp : yes flags : fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 apic sep mtrr pge mca cmov pat pse36 clflush mmx fxsr sse sse2 ht syscall nx mmxext fxsr_opt rdtscp lm 3dnowext 3dnow rep_good pni cx16 lahf_lm cmp_legacy svm extapic cr8_legacy bogomips : 4809.95 TLB size : 1024 4K pages clflush size : 64 cache_alignment : 64 address sizes : 40 bits physical, 48 bits virtual power management: ts fid vid ttp tm stc $ free total used free shared buffers cached Mem: 8111920 1748968 6362952 0 409452 492116 -/+ buffers/cache: 847400 7264520 Swap: 1959888 0 1959888 If more info is needed just ask.
