You mean the "real" (not the synthesized) residual? What is odd in your opinion? These glitches I mentioned or something else? I replaced the interpolated lpc (variable "interp_lpc") with the original lpc (variable lpc) for residual generation. This makes the situation worse, so lpc interpolation seems to "smooth" the error and reduces it. Considering that the input is a sine, I find these glitches a bit odd (maybe they also appear in other signals).
