I would like to announce the release of Valin 3.0. The release "party" occurred on 16 December, but was restricted to only the two core developers and the release managers. The features are similar to the original Valin 2.0 release (which has evolved significantly since then), including: - 3.1 kg birth weight - 48 cm height (more like the length in practice) - Pretty face However, the built-in noise generator has received some tuning and has a smaller duty cycle this time. The lead developer is well, but still recovering from the release party. As this is a very new release (with no beta or release candidate), expect a few short-term incompatibilities with Valin 1.0's involvement in the Speex development. A screenshot is attached. Cheers, Jean-Marc & Nathalie, core developers P.S. Sorry, the source code is not available and only one copy exists, which is DRM-protected and restricted to two users.
Your releases are known to be of high qulity, stable and well supported. So, I hope this your release will be of same or even higher quality, the most stable and best supported over all. And I hope it will bring a lot of joy to both of core developpers and entire support team. Have fun! :) -- Regards, Alexander Chemeris. SIPez LLC.
