As a rule of thumb, you can expect wideband to be roughly twice the
complexity of narrowband for similar usage (difference could be smaller
or larger depending on how you tune it).

what is the code complexity for wide band in comparision to the narrow 
badn codec? my purpose is to know if i can use the wide-band in our own

applications (to run on windows mobile / ARM CPU).

I believe it's wideband.  The quality of narrowband would make no sense
here.

I'm sure Peter will confirm it, though, when he gets to read his
e-mail, and we won't have to speculate.  A quick Google search didn't
reveal anything worth saying, I'm afraid.

It depends on the implementation -- all I do is write the protocols. But I
think that most implementations are supporting wideband. I'd have to check
on that to say for sure.
