I have an 8000hz stereo, 16bit wave file of 10 seconds in length. When I use speexenc to encode this file, I get a resulting file of about 22k. When I use the sampleenc.c file included in the manual, I get a file that is 42k. Changing the quality from 8 to 4 in both yields: speexenc - 12k sampleenc - 24k How is speexenc compressing the audio? Thanks, Tyler
