Hi R Users! I would like to create an high frequency series but I am experiencing some difficulties. My series should start at 09.30 a.m. each day and end at 16.00 for, let's say, 2 years. I don't care on how many observations are for each day. It's ok also one observation each minute. In this case, I would have 390 observations each day. I have tried the following: start <-

Confusing errors when attempting to run samba in AD DC mode
Hey All, I don't know what's wrong, or what I may have done wrong, but I THOUGHT I followed all the correct steps to setup samba, and it's not working. Here's what I did: D/L latest samba code (4.13.1) & extract install dependencies ./configure --prefix=/usr/local --enable-fhs (enable-fhs was required to get configure to run through completely) make make install cp

multiple addresses and multiple ports in Switch mode
i have a switched and bridged tincd node with two addresses, each with a different port. Address = 37.70.156.168 28655 Address = 192.168.2.228 655 i was having trouble reliably connecting to it / thru it and noticed that a log from a remote tincd node indicated it may have mixed up the ports. It doesn't appear to use the 28655 port that would be needed for remote access. Before i

Using unsplit - unsplit does not seem to reverse the effect of split
In data OME in MASS I would like to extract the first 5 observations per subject (=ID). So I do library(MASS) OMEsub <- split(OME, OME$ID) OMEsub <- lapply(OMEsub,function(x)x[1:5,]) unsplit(OMEsub, OME$ID) - which results in [[1]] [1] 1 1 1 1 1 [[2]] [1] 30 30 30 30 30 [[3]] [1] low low low low low Levels: N/A high low [[4]] [1] 35 35 40 40 45 [[5]] [1] coherent incoherent coherent

setting off-diagonals to zero
The following 1460 x 1460 matrix can be throught of as 16 distinct 365 x 365 matrices. I'm trying to set off-diaganol terms in the 16 sub-matrices with indices more than +/- 5 (days) from each other to zero using some for loops. This works well for some, but not all, of the for loops. The R code I"m using follows. For some reason the third loop below zero's-out everything in the

CVE-2019-11500: Critical vulnerability in Dovecot and Pigeonhole
Daniel, thanks so much for the detailed pointers. So it turns out to be both the evil that is systemd and an overzealous upgrade script. Apollon, should I raise a Debian bug for this? As for reasons, how do 50k proxy session on the proxy servers and 25k imap processes on the mailbox servers sound? Even on a server with just 6k users and 7k imap processes that causes a massive load spike and a
