Key colour problem with lattice plot
Hi, I seem to have a key colour problem with a lattice barchart. The colours on my key rectangle don't match the colours on the barchart. Here is my data frame: "LandFill" "Ruminants" "United States (USA)" 7777.21428 5528.16 "France" 200.527083 1299.87 "Australia" 185.878368 2448.17 "Russian Federation" 1752.8334 2024.29

Asterisk to Cisco Unity
Hi all, first post. My company's office in the UK is soon going to get a Cisco VoIP solution system. What I am interested in, and couldn't find googling, is if it is possible to connect an Asterisk solution to the Cisco system and have all the nice advantages of it (mainly calling the extensions and directly reach the other office). Thanks, have a nice day Simone

How do we updated to the new .7.1 version.
Yes folks it's me a Newbie. Remember I am also a non-Linux person trying to learn. I have a production Server running Asterisk .5 12/02/03 CVS, and would like to upgrade it to the new .71. Has anyone come up with instructions (Documentation for us newbie) on how to do this? My server is running Mandrake 9.0 which I know nothing about! Sorry if this sounds stupid but all the instructions I

Old hardware, newer kernels
I have an old server (old hardware) that's been running 6.4 with kernel 2.6.32-279.19.1.el6.i686, no problem. Except, any kernel update after that causes it not to boot anymore. All I get is a blinking cursor on the screen, nothing else. Is this the end of this hardware, no more kernel updates after this? For reference, these are all the options that kernel is booting up with (lines

Trouble with the results of a dynamically generated find() method
Hi all, So I have two tables: - apps (short for applicants) has_and_belongs_to_many :locations - locations has_and_belongs_to_many :apps In my system, a user searches for applicants by the locations to which they are associated, by using a dropdown menu that includes the names of locations (and sends to the method that returns the results the id of the selected location). So, in the

Vonage Linksys Router - Life after Vonage
I setup a vonage account last year, and cancelled it last night when I put my asterisk box together and signed up for a Broadvoice account to use with it. Now I would like to use my Linksys router as an MTA, but realize it is still programmed with all of vonage's proprietary information and I do not know how to clear it. I understand that just pushing the reset button will not do it.

climstats
I have been trying to download the climstats package: https://r-forge.r-project.org/R/?group_id=861 but it doesn't seem to run on R 3.0.2 or 3.0.1 and the zipfile is empty. Does anyone know the status of this package or where I can download it. [LLVMdev] llvm-gcc (pre-release and svn sources) fails to compile on Solaris10/SPARC
I am new to LLVM, and I'm trying to compile llvm and llvm-gcc from subversion on a Solaris10/SPARC machine. I have already tried building llvm-2.4 on this machine, but it failed. I then tried the subversion sources (rev. # 65253 fro llvm and rev#65263 for llvm-gcc) and llvm at least builds correctly ( I however have not tried testing it!). I can execute binaries located in

conditional replacement of character strings in vectors
Hello, I have a dataframe that looks like this: a b NA Honduras China NA NA Sudan Japan NA NA Mexico NA Mexico I would like to replace the NA values in column b with the non-NA values in column a. I have tried a number of techniques, (if, ifelse) but I must have the logic wrong. Thanks -- Josh [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

html help for packages with MS Windows
In the past few days, I have been helping people from Ethiopia and from Kenya to get started with R. We have discovered that properly installed libraries (survival5 or mine) work and the online (with ?) help is available but they do not appear in the html help (under packages) with MS Windows. Only the libraries supplied with R appear there. This is not true with netscape under (Linux) X-Windows
