plain text in Chinese can not be set

Hi, I am using SME server 6.0 which has samba preconfigured on it. We upgraded from MS Windows 2000 server. I am using the server in China and so many of the users wish to create files with Chinese characters in their names. File names with Chinese characters seem to cause all sorts of problems. chinese character support issue of rcom

Saving Chinese text in Quartz
I encountered a problem that I don't know where to or how to solve this. I can put Chinese text to a Quartz window. There is no problem to show the correct Chinese text string. However, when this Quartz window is saved, and open by Acrobat or Acrobat Reader, the Chinese text will become ........ Printing chinese characters (UTF-8) on R 3.5.2 -windows 10
I have a chinese character on a data frame, but the output of printing it is its UTF-8 code. Concretely, the character is ? and the code is U+6703.
