Does HEP require PJSIP or does it also works with SIP ?
Hello, On a newly built Asterisk 13.13.1 system, I can't make HEP work with chan_sip (though I could make it work with PJSIP on another instance). Looking either at [1] or hep.conf, I can't see anything meaning HEP requires PJSIP. Before diging deeper, may I simply ask if HEP requires PJSIP or not ? What about a line mentioning the answer in above documents (to keep other from wondering

Hello, I've been attempting to get this working all day. :) I have an RHEL3 machine connected to a Windows 2000 PDC as a domain member. I'm running samba 3.0.21c, compiled from an SRPM: # rpm -q samba samba-3.0.21c-1 When I try to list my users, I get this: # wbinfo -u Error looking up domain users Exit 1 Similarly, `getent passwd` fails to show any SMB users. GEE with user-specified link function
Hello, I would like to try to fit a GEE with user-specified link function. I read through a couple of thread on the list, for example http://tolstoy.newcastle.edu.au/R/help/04/12/9768.html#start and http://tolstoy.newcastle.edu.au/R/help/06/04/25298.html. I noticed that they are all 6 or more years old and the answer is very clear for GLM, however for GEE I am still not sure. There are two

Dissappearing gnome terminal contents
Hi. I am using gentoo and gnome 2.20 and the compiz version from git sources. When I maximize (vertically, horizontally, both) a gnome-terminal window the contents of the terminal window

weird behaviour of eigen()
I'm using R 1.7.1 under linux redhat it seems that the eigen values produced by eigen() do not follow a consistant order; I mean either ascending or discending e.g for one system: eigenV<-eigen(V) > print(eigenV$values) [1] -7.706828e+13 -4.702980e+13 -3.267579e+13 -1.701297e+13 -8.041677e+12 [6] -5.707311e+12 -5.053941e+12 -4.774652e+12 -4.280423e+12 -3.798905e+12

T3 Mux and Asterisk Question
I have a T3 coming from my carrier. From there I want to use an Adtran mx2800 T1 Mux to break the T3 into 28 T1/PRI which feed into seven quad T1/PRI equipped servers. Everything seems very straight forward with the exception of the D channels for the T1/PRI. I am not very familiar with large circuits such as T3s. I know that I can use one D channel per set of quad port on each server. So if

Error: memory exhausted (limit reached?)
Hi, I first posted this message on r-help, but got redirected here. I encounter a strange memory error, and I'd like some help to determine if I'm doing something wrong or if there's a bug in recent R versions... I'm currently working on a DeepNet project @home, with an old PC with 4Gb RAM, running Ubuntu 16.04. For efficiency reason, I preprocessed my dataset and stored it as

Samba 4.3.11 join an exiting windows AD failed with timeout
Thanks. It is an internal network. We opened up firewall. And windows DC is working well. We have two windows DCs now one PDC, anther BDC. We are moving to linux. So would like to add this linux as BDC, and demote the currently windows BDC. And have a test. If all good, we will migrate it totally. But now cannot make it works. Any other place should I check to make it work? Thanks, Ming.
