Hello, I'm new using R and developing tables. I have a problem in developing a table. In a questionaire I made I ask this question "Please tell me the first three sympthoms caused by Respiratory tract infection you've caught this year", then the people answer three sympthoms, the first mention (Top of mind) is saved in a variable called "P2_A", the second mention in

Confused about Search Results
Hi everyone, I''m pretty new to Lucene and Ferret, so I feel that this is most likely myself not completely understanding the correct way to do this. I haved indexed ~2200 text files (of various sizes), and I am now running searches on the index to get a feel for Lucene and Ferret. In my first program, which is using Lucene I search for ''influenza'' and get the

Dear Paula, There are probably missing observations in your data set. Read the na.action part of the glm help file. na.exclude is most likely what you are looking for. Best regards, ir. hello, i want to do a binomial simulation, by taking 200 var. from one group (x) and 300 from another (y). the prob. for disease=.6 in both groups. x <- rbinom(200, 1, .6) y <- rbinom(300, 1, .6) if the person is from group x - the probability to find the disease, assuming the person is sick, is .95, if he is from group Y its .80. i want to know the joint probability: p(the person has the

Software to monitor security logs and email ISPs?
I know they have software that does this. I'm just not sure which one it is. Basically here's the scoop. I'm on a cable modem connection with Comcast. I have a firewall router and I run a firewall on CentOS as well. All the same, other computers (probably zombies or hackers) are attempting brute force attacks on a couple of ports on my computer. I've just sat and watched them for

Vectorizing sample()
I am simulating sickness among a group of families. Part of the task is to randomly draw who in the family will be sick, randomly drawing from family ID's where Dad =1, Mom = 2, Kid1 = 3, Kid2 = 4., etc. My census of Dads is of the form shown below. Dad_ID Spouse (Y=1;N=0) #Kids #People_Becoming_Sick 1 1 0 1 2

[Very OT] Steve Jobs, is he sick?
For us "Railers" on Mac systems we all probably watched Steve Job''s keynote at the WWDC yesterday. Was it just me, or did Steve look "sick"? I mean he has lost a lot of weight and his skin was very drawn. -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

[PATCH 0/2 NOT WORKING] Symbol versioning
John, This was my attempt to add symbol versioning to the library, letting us break ABI without breaking any existing callers. Unfortunately it doesn't work: - the new versioned symbols are marked local in libguestfs.so - the existing symbols should now have @GUESTFS_0.0 versions, but don't The documentation for this stuff is extremely thin, and I've got a bad case of

astcc missing to bill random calls?
Hello list, I just came into a strange problem wth astcc. the trouble is astcc.agi does not bill some calls. The calls are logged in the cdr-csv/Master.csv file, but with a duration of 0, billsec of 0, an empty dstchannel, and with a lastapp field of "hangup". I suppose that astcc.agi was not able to get the answeredime variable from the SIP channel... I have added a few functions to
