where can I download package svIO?
Hello,
today I upgraded R to 2.10 and Tinn-R to 2.3.3.1.
Tinn-R needs the package svIO, but it is not available anymore on the
package lists.
Every session I start R and chose the CRAN-Mirror I receive the following
warning:
Bitte einen CRAN Spiegel f?r diese Sitzung ausw?hlen ---
Warnmeldung:

A couple of suggestions: source function (package base)
Hi,
I've been calling the function "source" (package base) from Tinn-R editor to
send files, marked blocks and selections to R interpreter because it avoids a
lot of problems related with input/output synchronization in the Rgui output!
The new RGedit plugin is also using this function in this way, and we are
finishing a new version of a plugin to Vim (Vim-R-plugin2) which uses

using command line flags with TINN-R
This is a TINN-R editor question rather than an R question, but can
anyone tell me how to use command line flags with TINN-R. There is a
space to fill in the path to Rgui, and I have "C:\Program
Files\R\rw2001pat\bin\Rgui.exe". If I try to add a command line flag
after that, such as " --no-save" or " --max-mem-size" then TINN-R will
not open the application.

SciViews and Tinn-R installation problem
Hello,
I have just installed R 2.7.0 and re-installed SciViews 0.8-9 and Tinn-R
1.19.4.7 and seem to have broken something along the way as follows.
I double-click on my current .RData file in the Windoze explorer, R
Console and Tinn-R load successfully (?).
I can list objects in my working directory with ls() but, when I attempt
to refresh any list in the R explorer tab of the Tools child

TINN-R's "R Explores" - Available for other editors?
Hello,
I am using TINN-R for working with R and for that purpose it is a very
handy editor, in particular the R-Explorer that shows the existing
objects and their properties is worth money.
But I want to move to a more flexible editor (in particular for Latex)
and was thinking of WinEdt (or maybe Eclipse, because of Java). I know
they have capabilities to work directly with R, but has any other

Tinn R to R problem
I am trying to send complete R code to R from Tinn R by pressing R
send:contiguous button.
I get following error:
> source(.trPaths[5], echo=TRUE, max.deparse.length=150)
Error in source(.trPaths[5], echo = TRUE, max.deparse.length = 150) :
object '.trPaths' not found
Anyone has any idea?
Thanks in advance

About Tinn-R
Hi everybody!!
I don`t know if it is correct to make a question about R and Tinn-R in this mailing-list, but I need some help with a problem for which I don't find a solution anywhere.
I have Tinn-R 2.3.5.2 in my notebook and I always used it with no problems, until a few days ago when this signs appears everytime I start the programme:

R GUI considerations (was: R, Wine, and multi-threadedness)
Hello,
Following a discussion initiated on r-devel, that mentions SciViews-R
and other GUIs issues for R, I would like to make comments (and would be
happy if these comments would initiate interesting initiatives).
A big, big problem with SciViews-R is that a part of it is written in
Visual Basic 6, a M$$$$ language, not supported any more, buggy, non
transposable to other platforms, etc,

portable R editor
Hi,
I have been dreaming about a complete R environment on my USB stick for a long time. Now I finally want to realize it but what I am missing is a good, portable editor for R which has tabs and syntax highlighting, can execute code, has bookmarks and a little project file management facility pretty much like Tinn-R has those. I like Tinn-R but it seems like there is only a very old version of

Tinn-R editor question: saving syntax colour options.
Hi,
after reading about it in the forum, I tried the Tinn-R editor (in
WinXP) running R 2.5.0... nice one!
However, I am trying to change the syntax-colouring from the default
to my own preferences... and I can do that, but my options don't
appear to be saved and get lost when I close Tinn-R. I've searched
help menus, and google... and I can't find how to make sure my

TinnR & Philips Webcam
Hi All,
I have a Philips Webcam, model SPC110NC. I had to download a diver in order for the webcam to work with Skype from the philips support page (www.philips.com/support).
Now when I start up TinnR to use with R, it opens the webcam. If I manually start up R, Tinn R will no longer synch with it.
Also, when I install the webcam driver there doesn't appear to be anyway to modify the

R editor vs. Tinn-R
Have you used Tinn-R and what landmines await the inexperienced?
I could not understand why a script that used to work stopped working.
Look at these two scenarios
I opened an excel spreadsheet and copied several cells to the clipboard
Then Scenario 1

Probably an old moon since evoqued one year ago in this link:

but I have recently re-installed Tinn-R with R 2.7.0 and forgot to insert
