amrita2 usage
Hey can someone tell me about Amrita2? I would LOVE to be able to edit my
views in dreamweaver, yet still have dynamic functionality applied to them -
similar to tapestry
How robust is it?
Who is using it?

render or redirect_to??
When would I use a render and when would I use a redirect_to? It seems that
a redirect_to would be so much more common, but there has been an emphasis

Hardware Vorbis
There is a 'feeling' on the opencores list that an audio decoder is desired.
(MP3 gets mentioned occasionally, but has its patent problems etc...)
http://www.opencores.org/ no audio projects are underway yet and I think a
vorbis decoder will take a while but even if only a start is made then
others may add to it.
For their one year anniversary they will actually be doing a chip run and

Dovecot 2.0.3
I upgraded today to from 1.2.12 to Dovecot 2.0.3 with the dbox format. I
just figured out there are still mail in some users directories with the
maildir format. These mail are not displayed at all. Nether with
roundcube nor with Thunderbird. How could I convert the remaining
maildir mails to dbox?
Thanks
Matthias

What gui works with samba 3.x and tdbsam ???
I just setup a new server for a client and everything is running well. I
added and setup all the users from the cli just because that's how I'm
used to doing it. I tried using the samba gui that comes with CentOS
4.03 and I tried Webmin but nether one will add the user proberly to the
tdbsam database. They add the user fine to the /etc/passwd file but
samba does not get updated

Rails 3: Engines or/and Railties. How to use them?
Howdy all,
I have spent a couple of days trying to figure out how to put
different pieces of our (quite large) app into components.
The idea was to use Rails 3 Engines/Railties and place them in /lib.
Each would have its own [app/views, app/helpers, app/models and app/
controllers]
We also needed an ability for those components to override views/
helpers/controllers in the parent

problem of install.packages in windows (R 1.81)
Dear R users,
I have a problem in the configuration of R:
I just changed university, and my conection to the net is via a password, which
permits me to access the packages with no problem via the internet explorer
(version 6).
I just updated R to R 1.81, and I cannot download nether upgrade packages (and
many are not working with the update!!!).
I have been looking in the help and emails, and

Touch tone stutter
I am hoping someone else has seen this and can offer a solution or at
least a direction to investigate. I am running 11.23. Most of my
clients are fine but one has a strange behaviour. He has a Grandstream
HT701 like most of my clients who use an ATA. He can make call and they
are crystal clear. However, when he tries to use phone menus ("dial 234
for John Doe" for example) it

CentOS5: Can't Access the Web Using Firefox Web Browser
Many times (not always) when I click on a URL in an email, the cursor
(rotating arrow) lasts for 5-10 seconds, then nada. If I exit email to
the desktop, nether the tool-bar icon, nor the
Applications->Internet->Firefox Web Browser route will get me unto the
web although the cursor shows a rotating arrow for a few seconds. Some
other task may be executing as the hard disk is working

shift, alt, or ctlr + mouse click not working in 0.9.59?
Since the latest wine, I noticed that pressing down shift or alt or ctlr and clicking the mouse doesn't have the intended effect.
In games like civ4, shift or alt clicking is used for city queues and selecting multiple units, nether of which work, and in warcraft3, pressing alt will show the health bars of units, but this goes away as soon as the mouse is clicked.

RFC: libtrace
Hi all,
We have been thinking internally about a lightweight llvm-based ptracer.
To address one question up front: the primary way in which this differs
from LLDB is that it targets a more narrow use case -- there is no
scripting support, no clang integration, no dynamic extensibility, no
support for running jitted code in the target, and no user interface. We
have several use cases internally
