why the same values cannot be judged to be the same in R
Hi Rusers, I found sometimes that the same values cannot be judged to be the same in R. Anybody knows the probelm? I think i ignored some minor detail. Thanks. Here is the example. ############ data1<-matrix(data=c(1,1.2,1.3,"3/23/2004",1,1.5,2.3,"3/22/2004",2,0.2,3.3,"4/23/2004",3,1.5,1.3,"5/22/2004"),nrow=4,ncol=4,byrow=TRUE)

Hoaglin Outlier Method
I am a new user of R so please bear with me. I have reviewed some R books, FAQs and such but the volume of material is great. I am in the process of porting my current SAS and SVS Script code to Lotus Approach, R and WordPerfect. My question is, can you help me determine the best R method to implement the Hoaglin Outlier Method? It is used in the Appendix A and B of the fo llowing link.

Probem with Windows 2012 R2 server
Hi, I'm having a lot of trouble with a Server 2012R2 evaluation version. I'm testing it to see how good it works in libvirt-kvm. It seems the server won't run longer than a few days. After a few days, when I shut down the server, she won't start again. Has anybody have experienced the same??? My Windows 8.1, and Linux VM's works perfectly... Greetings

In short: When I try to open the printer-properties of a Deskjet 1120C in MS-Work 97 the error "Word can not show the properties-dialog, because there was an error during the printing" (translated from the german message) in MS-Word 2000 the properties-dialog shows up, but although I did

Probem with argument "append" in "Rprof"
Hello, Appending information to the profiler's output seems to generate problems. Here is a small example of code : <code r> require(boot) Rprof( memory.profiling = TRUE) Rprof(NULL) for(i in 1:2){ Rprof( memory.profiling = TRUE, append = TRUE) example(boot) Rprof(NULL) } </code> The problem is that the file Rprof.out contains more than once the header information: $ grep

estimating NA values against selected slots
Dear R Users, Could you please help me on the following issue? I have a real large yearly data set. For each year I have 365 flow values. Some of the flow values are not known and that’s why you will see NA written in those slots. I wanted to know, is there a way that I can estimate those values? I tried approx command but it seems least helpful for the kind of issue I am up against.

I have a problem with R. I try to compute the confidence interval for my df. When I want to create the plot I have this problem: Error in xy.coords(x, y, xlabel, ylabel, log) : 'x' and 'y' lengths differ. I try this code: library(dplR) df.rwi <- detrend(rwl = df, method = "Spline",nyrs=NULL) write.table(df.rwi,file="rwi.txt",quote=FALSE,row.names=TRUE)

[LLVMdev] misc. patches
Morten, The leaks.patch file introduced a static destructor ordering problem which lead to garbled output. The comment above those lines of code indicates why it needs to be the way it is. My bad for committing it in the first place. Please be careful in the future. Reid. On Mon, 2004-12-13 at 05:30, Morten Ofstad wrote: > Hi, > > here are some minor patches that for various reasons
