Book on R graphics
Hi all, I am looking for a book from which one could learn a wide range of graphics in R, from the very beginning topics to those advanced (though not necessarily concerned with a particular method or topic). I don't look for a list of such books since this is on R's web page, I am rather interested in your opinion on these books - which you would recommend. The quality of writing and

Recommend a USB 802.11 dongle?
I ALMOST bought a dongle on sale at ecost without checking. There is a driver for the CP Technologies adapter, but not as an rpm, it seems. Madwifi.org says no USB support. Though there is some discussion of using the ndiswrapper driver. So which to use? Anyone out there with any success?

Two Linux books I recommend
I would like to recommend two (2) Linux books that might be helpful to some of the people reading this mailing list: (1) "Red Hat Fedora and Enterprise Linux Bible", by Christopher Negus. Published by Wiley. Buy the edition for the version of CentOS you are using. This book is very easy to read and is probably best for Beginning to Intermediate users. This is the book I reach for

Recommend a good CSS forum?
Hi folks, I''m curious if anyone can recommend a good CSS forum, mailing list or users group, similar to this Rails list. I''ve found this list incredibly friendly and useful, and I''d like to find a forum to seek and give help on stylesheet stuff, which is beyond the scope of the Rails list. Thanks! Definitely recommend upgrades on Tyan S2895 ...
It seems that unstable PowerNow support on the Tyan S2895 is not limited to Linux according to this review: http://www.hardcoreware.net/reviews/review-296-1.htm Their solution was to upgrade the BIOS as well. -- Bryan J. Recommend a pdf reader?
Hello!!! evince is a really good ubuntu pdf reader, but for some tasks I would like to use mouse button 1 for panning, because I use a netbook touchpad. Currently panning is only available using mouse button 3, which I would need to use a separate mouse for. OT recommend an IAX phone or IAX softphone+USB handset?
Hi Yall, I would love to put a very compact phone on my wife's desk at work... Ideally this would be a very small IAX phone with 2 RJ-45's so I could drop it in without much notice and only have to beg for 1 port from the sysadmin. I have looked around and I don't see such an item in existence? What I would love is a "home" phone looking handset (wired is fine), which

Recommend software version for Cisco IOS Gateways and SIP Phones?
We're running Asterisk 1.2 on a network with a Cisco Voice Gateway (2811) and 7940/7960 SIP Phones, and were wondering what the recommended software versions on these were. Currently, we have 12(4)2T4 on the Voice Gateway, and 7.5 on most of the phones. Is this a fairly standard, supportable setup, or should we look for an upgrade? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment
