cdplot() with 'POSIXct' x
Hi, Given that cdplot() is used to produce the conditional density of a categorical y along a numerical x, it seems natural that it could be used with a date or time x (such as 'POSIXct'). Is this desirable? If so, I've created a patch that would allow this, by coercing the POSIXct x variable to produce the density, but use the original POSIXct x to draw the x axis. Index:

cdplot error
Fairly new at this. Trying to create a conditional density plot. >cdplot(status~harvd.l,data=phy) Error in cdplot.formula(status~harvd.l,data=phy): dependent variable should be a factor What does this error mean? Status is a binary response of infestation (0/1) and harvd.l is the log of timber harvest density per catchment. Thanks. -- View this message in context:

ordered logistic regression - cdplot and polr
Hi, I have a dataset that I am trying to analyze and plot as an ordered logistic regression (y = ordinal categories 1-3, x = continuous variable with values 3-9). First is a problem with cdplot: Produces a beautiful plot, with the "right" trend, but my independent factor values are transformed. The factor has values from 3-9, but the plot produces an x-axis with values from 20-140.

Focus problem for shaded windows
Hi, today, I noticed a problem in focus handling for shaded windows which is pretty easy to reproduce: - Disable "Click to focus" - Shade a window - Hover another window - Hover back to the window frame of the shaded window - Press Ctrl+Alt+S Expected behaviour would be that the shaded window is unshaded. What happens is that the last active window is shaded. I investigated this a

breaking a loop in R
Hi All, I was wondering if there is anything that breaks a loop in R. For example, For (k in 1:100) For ( i in 1:10){ If ( condition ){ Break the inner loop } } } In the above case, if the program runs the if statement, then I want the inner loop for (i in 1:10) to stop looping and skip the rest of the program.
