Are there any guis out there, which will allow editing of the graph?
Hi, all, I would like to know if there is any gui interface out there (academic or commercial) that allows one to edit R-language generated graphs (e.g positioning x axis labels.) It would be nice to have something like the user interface of Igor or Origin. I have already used JGR and R-gui. These are good, but they don't allow one to easily edit graphs. I have also tried

Hello Rusers, I have worked on a R Wiki page for solutions in exporting R graphs, especially, the often-asked questions: - How can I export R graphs in vectorized format (EMF) for inclusion in MS Word or OpenOffice outside of Windows? - What is the best solution(s) for post-editing/annotating R graphs. The page is at: http://wiki.r-project.org/rwiki/doku.php?id=tips:graphics-misc:export. I

Linux Editor
Hi Everyone, I recently have started using R again on a Linux box after spending several years on a Mac. Last I checked, the best way to use R was through EMACS using something like ESS. I remember that being serviceable but not always the most convenient. Is there anything comparable to the mac version of R with its built in console, editor, etc?? thanks! -- View this message in context:

R 2.12.0 and JGR
Since upgrading to 2.12.0, I'm having trouble getting the JGR to start under Windows 7, but I'm not quite sure what's happening. When I try to run the JGR.exe stub, the dialog says can't find Java R interface jri.dll. As nearly as I can tell from a Google search this is to be a part of the rJava package which seems to load fine with the library(rJava) command from the Windows R

Object Browser
What's the best object browser? Dear all, I have tried all the popular R IDE or editors like Eclipse, Komodo, JGR, Revolution... They all have fancy fucntions like auto completion, syntax highlight.... BUT, I JUST WANT A OBJECT BROWSER! The easiest way to view objects in R console is fix(), but you have no global view of all the objects in the workspace. Revolution has the best object

Cloning R Installation Across Multiple Computers
I would like to set up identical R installations, with the same packages, on multiple computers and with minimal interaction by users. Ideally, I would like to have an installation script that the user can just run that will set up everything, including R itself and base packages. Standard packages would need to include ggplot2 and its dependencies, Rcmdr and its dependencies and some Rcmdr
