wireframe advice - with reproducible code
Dear List,
i am trying to produce a 3d plot using wireframe using the code:
wireframe(Residuals_FD ~ Elevation * Temperature, data = data2, scales = list(arrows = FALSE), drape = TRUE, colorkey = TRUE)
As you can see when the code (using the data below) is run the plot area is set-up correctly but the actual surface is missing?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

really strange problem - has to be logic but i can't find it
would someone be kind enough to paste the code below into an R session (
ir you
can paste it into a file and just source it ) and take a look at it ? I
must be doing something wrong but
i can't find it.
I start out with a zoo object that has 100 elements in it.
then, i only want to keep the rows in which the bid and the ask are both
grester than zero. ( maybe my logic is wrong there ? ).

Correlation Matrix with a Covariate
R Help -
I'm trying to run a correlation matrix with a covariate of "age" and will
at some point will also want to covary other variables concurrently.
I'm using the "psych" package and have tried other methods such as writing
a loop to extract semi-partial correlations, but it does not seem to be
working. How can I accomplish this?

R2HTML Report number format, or Better Way?
Here I am again with question I'll feel foolish for asking, when I
see the answer.
I'm trying to produce a report and here's where I get stuck:
How do I get R2HTML to produce the same number format?
Particularly remove the decimal places for Par and Sal.
Are there better methods to produce this type of report?
Thanks,
L.A.

Append a value to a vector
This should be easy but it does not work
I have 3 vectors*(activeT,inactT, activeR)*,
the idea is that if the last value in inactT is higher than the last in
activeT
this value has to be append in active T
and the last value in another vector call activeR has to be repeated.
(at the bottom you can find the vectors)
I have done this:
activeT=round(as.numeric(activeT))
inactT=

Enable vectorizer-maximize-bandwidth by default?
Hi,
I'm proposing to make vectorizer-maximize-bandwidth on by default for loop
vectorizer because it should generally help performance.
I've tested the performance impact on Intel sandybridge machine with

To anyone who can help:
I have two brief questions concerning sapply. Following below is the

How to do a pretty panel plot?
The pretty picture that I saw at:

inspired me to try something similar. The code that I wrote is:

how to get correct coefficients from lm model
Howdy
I apologize for duplicated posting. But I decided to correct my previous
posting.
I had the regression results using
r <- lm(Y ~ nemp + as.factor(devt), data=d).
First, there is the result of anova(r). Here I could not find regression
coefficients.
Response: Y

SARIMA Model confrimation
Hi..
R Program is shown ARIMA output as below then SARIMA equation is be
(1 - 0.991B^{12})z_t + 43.557 = (1+0.37B)(1-0,915B^{12})a_t
But I try to calculate it by manual . It look like it 's big different from R sofeware,
I am not sure this equation is correct or not . PLS supoort me to confirm it

Newbie
Hello,
I'm a bit new to the world of R so forgive my ignorance. I'm trying to do a zero-inflated negative binomial regression and have received an error message and i'm not sure what it means. I'm running R 2.5.1 on XP. I have just tried a really simple version of the model to see if it would run before I put all the variables in. I have attached all the variables to the

R and S-Plus got the different results of principal component analysis from SAS, why?
Dear Rusers,
I have met a difficult problem on explaining the differences of principal
component analysis(PCA) between R,S-PLUS and SAS/STATA/SPSS, which wasn't
met before.
Althought they have got the same eigenvalues, their coeffiecients were
different.
First, I list my results from R,S-PLUS and SAS/STATA/SPSS, and then show
the original dataset, hoping sb. to try and explain it.

Question regarding significance of a covariate in a coxme survival model
Hi,
I am running a Cox Mixed Effects Hazard model using the library coxme. I
am trying to model time to onset (age_sym1) of thought problems (e.g.
hearing voices) (sym1). As I have siblings in my dataset, I have
decided to account for this by including a random effect for family
(famid). My covariate of interest is Mother's diagnosis where a 0 is
bipolar, 1 is control, and 2 is major

i'd appreciate help with my glmer.
i have a dependent which is an index (MH.index) ranging from 0-1. this index
can also be considered as a propability. as i have a fixed factor (stage)
and a nested random factor (site) i tried to model with glmer. i read that
it's possible to use a quasibinomial distribution, for this kind of data,
which i than actually did - but firstly

Help interpreting output of Rprof
Hello there,
I am not quite sure how to interpret the output of Rprof (in the following the output I was staring at). I was poking around the web a little bit for documentation but without much success. I guess if I want to figure out what takes so long in my code the 2nd table $by.total and the total.pct column (pct = percent) is the most helpful. What does it mean that [ or [.data.frame is
