multi-scale singular spectrum analysis (SSA)
Hi everybody! I am searching for an R implementation of multi-scale singular spectrum analysis (SSA), which was introduced by Yiou etal (2000) (Data-adaptive wavelets and multi-scale singular-spectrum analysis) and further described in Ghil etal (2002). For SSA alone I found an package recently published on r-forge: http://r-forge.r-project.org/projects/simsalabim/ I am happy about any

Multichannel singular spectrum analysis (M-SSA) for R?
Does anyone know of any tools to do multichannel(multivariate) singular spectrum analysis (M-SSA) in R? Seems like this would be a useful thing to have. -Hilbert [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

help with package "simsalabim"
I have attached a text file representing the centralized amplitude of a signal, sampled at 30Hz, whose length N = 6922 My goal is to remove the trend. I am using package "simsalabim". I ran command decompSSA with L = length(Amps)/5 The reason is that I have SSA/MTM toolkit running in Mac/OS. SSA/MTM documentation, relative to SSA, recommends that N/10 <= L <= N/5.

bibtex::read.bib -- extracting bibentry keys
I have two versions of a bibtex database which have gotten badly out of sync. I need to find find all the entries in bib2 which are not contained in bib1, according to their bibtex keys. But I can't figure out how to extract a list of the bibentry keys in these databases. A minor question: Is there someway to prevent read.bib from ignoring entries that do not contain all required fields?

[ANNOUNCE] xscope 1.3.99.901
This is a release candidate for xscope 1.4, which includes these new features: - RANDR decoding updated from just 0.x protocol to handle 1.0 - 1.4 - Atoms recorded from InternAtom & GetAtomName to use for display in other requests referencing the atoms - Property requests now also show these property types in a more natural format instead of as just lists of bytes: UTF8_STRING, atoms,

blame-transfer protocol on PXE boot
hpa, etal, pxelinux works great from a push of the reset button. machine boots normally. However, after i issue 'reboot' command, my box fails to find the tftp server during reboot. This looks to be happening before pxelinux has any chance to participate, so it cannot be to blame. Im seeking corroboration here before I go badgering the bios-provider here's the relevant

KalmanLike: missing exogenous factor?
>From the help document on KalmanLike, KalmanRun, etc., I see the linear Gaussian state space model is a <- T a + R e y = Z' a + eta following the book of Durbin and Koopman. In practice, it is useful to run Kalman filtering/smoothing/forecasting with exogenous factor: a <- T a + L b + R e y = Z' a + M b + eta where b is some known vector (a function of time). Some other

serial vs console and serialonly
hi hpa, etal I found a patch against 2.06 that turned off console when serial was in use. http://centerclick.org/net4801/pxelinux/syslinux.patch This patch works, but appears to turn off the console unconditionally. I went to see how it would fit in 2.11, and it seems youve already started adding this feature. If so great, but how do I control it from a config-file ? I didnt see any new

Oops!!! Current CVS crashes
I don't know whether this ought to go to the bugtracker. I downloaded the current CVS last night and then again just a few minutes ago. In both cases I can crash asterisk very easily by the following method: 1. Call up and leave a voicemail. 2. Log in and listen that I have a new message. 3. Hit "1" to listen, and 'Hasta la vista' asterisk. I also noticed that the normal

I have been working, for the past few years, with armv7 SOCs and have a number of servers working. Intel, etal are catching up with ARM and I have seen ones like: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/NEW-Mini-pc-X86-4-Lan-Qotom-Q190G4N-with-celeron-J1900-quad-core-4-usb-VGA/32785346279.html I am looking for a low power (this is 10W) x86_64 board that has at least 2 core and 2GB memory. If it had two (or more) network ports, I'd be all over it. A single gigabit nic is a bit limiting for me. Transition to IceCast 2
I'm trying to migrate to icecast2 from 1.3.12, and having a bit of trouble with the admin interface. I have a need to programmatically control icecast, including dumping the stream to a file, among other things. Under the old icecast, it was relatively easy to open a socket to port 8000 on the icecast server and programmatically interact with the admin console. I can't seem to get it to

clean Email format data
Dear all I am now going to do some text analysis using R. However, the data is very noisy that I need to clean it first. I don't have much experience in the text cleaning process. Is anyone would provide help on this? If you are able to provide some similar code which was done before would be greatly appreciated. May content is mainly the Feedback data through *Phone call record*:
